============================
Detecting User Input

There are eight hacks in this chapter.
The files and directories are:

* compile.bat, run.bat
     // batch files for compiling and running most of the examples;
     // they utilize J/Invoke (see below)

Hack 11.1: CursorWin.java
Hack 11.2: CursorRepel.java
Hack 11.3: PollingWin.java
Hack 11.4: Idler.java, LASTINPUTINFO.java
Hack 11.5: KeyboardHooks/
Hack 11.6: MouseHooks/
Hack 11.7 and 11.8: Signals/

------
Compilation and Execution
=========================

Hack 11.1: CursorWin.java
> javac CursorWin.java
> java CursorWin
     // stop output by closing the GUI window

Hack 11.2: CursorRepel.java
> javac CursorRepel.java
> java CursorRepel
     // you won't be able to click on the close box;
     // use the close menu item for the java icon on the task bar

Hack 11.3: PollingWin.java
> compile PollingWin.java
> run PollingWin
     // stop output by closing the GUI window

Hack 11.4: Idler.java, LASTINPUTINFO.java
> compile *.java
> run Idler
    // stop program by typing ctrl-c in the console window

Hack 11.5: KeyboardHooks/
  - see readme.txt in the subdirectory

Hack 11.6: MouseHooks/
  - see readme.txt in the subdirectory

Hack 11.7 and 11.8: Signals/
  - see readme.txt in the subdirectory

-------
J/Invoke

A 30-day evaluation version of J/Invoke can be downloaded from
http://www.jinvoke.com/download. Unzip it and store in a directory.

The batch files in this directory (compile.bat and run.bat) assume
that jinvoke.jar is located in d:\jinvoke\
